[Charity] Project Runway to Hope

I was helping out for this charity event doing the hair for the little children. Looking at their courage and hope in life really encourages me alot. I feel that contributing at such charity event is part of my giving to the society. It is indeed fulfilling. Unfortunately, I have decided not to post any pictures of the children here.

60s Look for Angeline

I was working with photographer Tanlin and we decided on a modern 60s look shoot. It has been fun to do all the research on the makeup, hairdo, clothes and venue. We are very happy with the shoot that day. These are some of the low resolution photos for sharing first. More photos (and closeups of makeup) will be uploaded later when they are ready.

Staphni Bridal Photoshoot

I did the hair and makeup in a bridal photoshoot for Staphni. Its a good experience to do all the makeup and hair outdoor with limited resources on hand.
Although its a really hot and humid day, fortunately we managed to get some nice shots of pretty Staphni. These are some of the photos taken that day by one of the 2 photographers.

OCBC Bank Face Painting event

OCBC Bank organized a Face Painting for kids on 4th August at their various branches in Singapore. I was at the Katong branch helping out with this event.

ITEC Exam

Finally, I have completed the ITEC Level 2 Make-up examinations. Thank you to everyone who has helped me in one way or another.

NDP 2013 Video Shoot @Mountbatten and SkatePark

I was involved another part of the NDP 2013 music video shoot on 29th June doing makeup for the talents. There are 2 shooting sites today - Mountbatten and East Coast Skate Park. I traveled with the team and helped with the makeup and touchups throughout. Some pictures taken during this assignment stint.

NDP 2013 Video Shoot @Lau Pa Sat

I was involved in one of the NDP 2013 video shoot on 9th June at Lau Pa Sat. Its a very long assignment but really interesting to see how a MV is done. We started setting up our stuffs on makeshift tables under the sun. Yup, its really hot to do makeup out in the open like that. After the sun set, we continued our work using the street lamps. The lighting is really a challenge for us throughout. In between takes, we were darting in and out blotting the sweat of the big group of participants and touching up their makeup.It is indeed tiring but still fun. I have learnt alot from this experience.
